It’s very easy to see why he’s been picked, and picked early. He’s obviously got a lot of learning to do, but I think he’s got the absolute basics of being a spinner in Test cricket really well understood. I think he’s got a big future ahead of him.
He’s got a good wrist position and he can do a bit with the ball, which is really exciting. He can bowl a bouncer and he’s got a good short ball, so he’s got a good mix to his game.
It’s been really impressive to see him come into the England side and look like he belongs there. He’s got a great attitude, he’s willing to learn, and he’s got that determination to succeed at this level. I think he’s definitely one to watch for the future.
