His ball-striking is just so good and his putting has been phenomenal this week. He’s just a really solid player in all aspects of the game right now.
He’s got a four-shot lead going into the final round, which is a great position to be in. But we all know that anything can happen in golf, especially at a major championship. There are a lot of great players lurking behind him, so he’s going to have to play well to close it out.
But if he keeps playing the way he has been, I don’t see anyone stopping him. He’s just too good right now.
It’s that competitive drive that separates the greats from the good. It’s what pushes them to always strive for more, to never settle for anything less than their best. And Scottie Scheffler is proving that he has what it takes to be among the best in the game.
As for Rory, we know he has that same drive within him. It’s just a matter of finding that spark again, that fire that propels him to greatness. And when he does, we can expect nothing but greatness from him as well.
But for now, it’s Scottie’s time to shine. And he’s not letting anyone or anything stand in his way. That’s the mark of a true champion.
