Algernon Cadwallader ha anunciado su primer álbum en 14 años, Trying Not to Have a Thought, que sale el 12 de septiembre por Saddle Creek. Después de “Parrot Flies” en 2011, es también el primer disco de la banda de emo con la formación original: Peter Helmis (voz/bajo), Joe Reinhart y Colin Mahony (guitarras), y Nick Tazza (batería) desde su debut en 2008, “Some Kind of Cadwallader”. El sencillo principal, intenso y emotivo, ya está disponible junto a un vídeo dirigido por Darby Irrgang y Ricky Christian. Échale un vistazo abajo.
En 2018, Lauren Records relanzó los dos álbums de Algernon Cadwallader en vinilo. En 2022, el grupo se reunió para sus primeros conciertos en una década.
